Police Officers in Stranraer are seeking the help of the community in a high value tools theft investigation. Sometime around 2315 hours on Thursday 18 January 2018 a van and trailer were stolen from a builder’s yard in the Blackparks Industrial Estate, Stranraer. The van was in the livery of Alister Scobie, Electrician. 
The van was used to remove an Ifor Williams power tip trailer, which was loaded with tools from the yard. The tools included laser levels and stands, Bosch drills, a Stihl saw, a Paslode nail gun, two large Hilti breakers and various other tools. The value of the theft is in the region of £15,000. The van was later abandoned in the Industrial Estate, however the trailer and the tools remain outstanding.
